On Crossed Product Rings with Twisted Involutions, Their Module Categories and L-theory

چکیده
We study the Farrell-Jones Conjecture with coefficients in an additive G-category with involution. This is a variant of the L-theoretic FarrellJones Conjecture which originally deals with group rings with the standard involution. We show that this formulation of the conjecture can be applied to crossed product rings R ∗ G equipped with twisted involutions and automatically implies the a priori more general fibered version.

The non-abelian tensor product of normal crossed submodules of groups
In this article, the notions of non-abelian tensor and exterior products of two normal crossed submodules of a given crossed module of groups are introduced and some of their basic properties are established. In particular, we investigate some common properties between normal crossed modules and their tensor products, and present some bounds on the nilpotency class and solvability length of the...

متن کاملThe category of generalized crossed modules
In the definition of a crossed module $(T,G,rho)$, the actions of the group $T$ and $G$ on themselves are given by conjugation. In this paper, we consider these actions to be arbitrary and thus generalize the concept of ordinary crossed module. Therefore, we get the category ${bf GCM}$, of all generalized crossed modules and generalized crossed module morphisms between them, and investigate som...
متن کاملGlobalization of Twisted Partial Actions
Let A be a unital ring which is a product of possibly infinitely many indecomposable rings. We establish a criteria for the existence of a globalization for a given twisted partial action of a group on A. If the globalization exists, it is unique up to a certain equivalence relation and, moreover, the crossed product corresponding to the twisted partial action is Morita equivalent to that corre...
متن کاملOn tensor product $L$-functions and Langlands functoriality
In the spirit of the Langlands proposal on Beyond Endoscopy we discuss the explicit relation between the Langlands functorial transfers and automorphic $L$-functions. It is well-known that the poles of the $L$-functions have deep impact to the Langlands functoriality. Our discussion also includes the meaning of the central value of the tensor product $L$-functions in terms of the Langl...
